Personally, approaching Christmas means very busy bee indeed ! !  ;o)

Another idea, another thought that I would love to share with you today; it came when reading a French newspaper that I consult on line, daily

Title:

"depuis 25 ans, la France n'a rien inventé"

" France hasn't invented anything for 25 years"

The title hooks me immediately (how good are those journalists !)

Here I am, diving in the story, and I am loving it so much ! you can't iamgine ! A treasure of rich thoughts that I will share with you soon !

Pr Philippe Even is interviewed, he is a young man of 78 years, former dean of Necker University, Paris, France; creator of the 'Necker Institute' that he has lead for 20 years

Jumping with joy reading the article, I send it to my sister who is a doctor and did her studies at Necker; I wanted to have her opinions about him; straight answer:

"As a teacher he was awesome; a man who made a difference"

yes, minds that are firmly attached to their freedom of  thought are rich very early and all along their life experience !

This free mind of Pr Even says, from the begining of its interview that

"Être vieux c'est être jeune depuis plus longtemps que les autres"

"Being old means being young for longer than the others""

I bet That Philippe Even is psychologically about 20 years old; he questions everything, stays free and masters his thoughts

I can think of 2 persons I know who have / have had that same life attitude

My grand mother who was watching television, reading, was burning her neurones in endless discussions til the end of her life

My father as well, at 83 continues to read, discuss, weighing pros and cons for different concepts and maintains a regular physical excercise. Much calmer than his mother, just another way !

We can define three different age definitions for human beings (*)

Chronological age: depending on the calendar

Biological age      : age of your body in terms of vital parameters

Psychological age: what age do you feel you have ?

Only the first one is fixed

The second one is not because each of our organs has its own living pace, its own strengths and vunerabilities;

Psychological age is also very individual, there aren't two persons with the same psychological age as there aren't two persons with the same experiences nor the same perception of their experiences and this is where all the difference is, in the individual perception

Of course, the biological and the psychological ages influence each other !

As I was saying to my niece, when she was recently celebrating her thirties;

deep inside us, age isn't a figure, it is an attitude !
