Good
morning to you;
I was
reading this text this morning in the French magasine « Marianne »
(this magazine is currently helping the survavors of Charlie Hebdo to work by welcoming
them in their offices in Paris.
This, in my
opinion is a fundamental text.

When your
child has become a murderer, you do have to question what happened.
You have
to, because you were their first role models
You have to
to, because if you do not face what does not work well (and here, this is an
euphemism !) you can never change it ! And we have to change something there.
In the long term.
In the long term.
In the name
of what should we stop our thoughts from
questioning
what does not work wth what humans have done with Islam ? !
questioning
what is wrong with what humans have done with Catholism ?
questioning
what is wrong with what humans have done with Judaism ?
In the name of what should we stop our thoughts from questioning any dogma ? ? ?
By the way,
that was right the work of the guys who were working in Charie Hebdo.
I feel
those who are afraid of that essential questioning are giving more weapons for
the wars to continue.
In the
French frame, I do believe we also have to take into account history. The way
the political world and also the civilian society manages the Arabic / Barbarian
population of North Africa, as much as the way they have for any population
from the previous colony give us points of explanation of what happened this
week in Paris.
You simply
have to read newspapers of around
1950/1965, check the French social classes pyramid; talk to French families who have an Arabic origin,
those who do nat have an Arabic origin. . .
That will
also give you a huge amount of clear explanation.
Do you
remember one day when you have been ridiculed, rejected only because you were
you ?
The answer
that comes from that is hate, anger, revenge …
This is one
of multiple explanations as you also have to go deeper into one’s very personal
life…
And whatever
the explanations, we need to face them and refuse their consequences.
Saying this
reality out loud does not mean we have to accept the consequences.
We have to
refuse the Talion law or we will go nowhere !
The Talion
law to me is the equivalent of those of the little kid : “you did this to me, I’ll
do you the same !”
This logics
leads absolutely nowhere but more agressivity.
This is you
change my muslim sisters and brothers, to express what is right in your
religion and what is wrong !
This is
your change to show the world the beauty of Islam and all the richness it can bring to our world.
Take it !
Do not be mislead by your own suffering.
Be free and
show us !
We want to
know more the true message of your god.
Do that for
us all, please.
It is
urgent.
Violence
and rejection lead to violence
Love and
respect lead to love and respect.
PS. I am
not a god believer. Religions and their gods are for me a cultural expression
of something / someone that is somewhere in us, around us. Something, someone ?
how could I know ? that is linking us all. We do all make the balance of our
world. Us: animals, plants, cosmos.
I do
believe that this Entity does respects us to highly that is allows us to make
our mistake and sometimes, understand them and our limits.
We are
responsible creatures for what we are creating.
If we knew
the answer of a god / something / someone. That would give us THE answer .
That would
stop us from developing our spirituality.
And stop us
from developing our differences.
What a dry
and sterile world we would have to live in !
I am happy I do not know…
And this belief of mine goes with the fact that I do respect those who belive in one or several gods.
One belief can accept others.
those for me are not antagonistic.
