Our limiting beliefs

Me, having a go with a unicycle ... why not !

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.

Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.

It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us.

We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?

Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God.

Your playing small does not serve the world.

There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you.

We are all meant to shine, as children do.

We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us.

It's not just in some of us ; it's in everyone.

And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.

As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.

Take some time to read it or read it again, be impregnated with its message

If you feel uncomfortable with the notion of god; swap it with one you prefer; it doesn’t matter

This text tells us that we are the only ones that put a limit to what we can achieve. Nobody else.

We chose our path and in the vast majority of the situations we are in, we do restrain ourselves with our beliefs

Our beliefs confine what is possible for us to change

The unique person who can wide open our individual, family, social paths is ourselves

We could also reflect on the way we limit our children with some warnings that only mirror our own limiting beliefs and have nothing to do with their own development:

“Be careful ! you can’t do this, you are too … / you are not enough …”

How about enjoying our abilities; assuming them and using them as much as we want to.

This isn’t about shadowing others, on the contrary

It is recognizing totally who we are and sharing that abolition of limits and so, like Marianne Williamson tells us, passing on the feeling of freedom

What, inside you, you feel like doing but don’t dare giving it a go as you are persuaded you are not capable of making it ?

This is exactly where all can start !
