Ayurveda approach of health

According to the World Health Organisation definition given in 1946, Health is

“a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity”

Let’s always remember it is more than only the absence of disease or infirmity.

I do believe that all cultures and eras have developed rich and useful and efficient ways to consider health.
And I do think it is important to consider them.

In India for example, the traditional approach is called Ayurveda.

Deepak Chopra:

“In Ayurveda, a level of total, deep relaxation is the most important precondition for curing any disorder.
 The underlying concept is that the body knows how to maintain balance unless thrown off by disease;
Therefore if one wants to restore the body’s own healing ability, everything should be done to bring it back into balance.
 It is a very simple notion that has profound consequences.”

I am not a specialist of Ayurveda, nor a master of relaxation.

Though, for seven years now, I have been using and witnessing the ability of the association body-mind to relieve physical pain and mental blockages;

It has been incredibly efficient.
No need to pay a lot of money to someone; no magical wand either;

It is simply another way to consider our health that doesn't need to deny the benefits of modern medicine.

It is being opened to what our body-mind incredible association can bring us.

Have you ever tried ?

If you want to know more, feel free to ask me all the question, doubts, ideas you may have about this !
