Philippe DONANT, first dsigner for an sustainable design office building in Rio

I have the pleasure to introduce you to a friend. His name is Philippe DONANT. 

He is the designer and architect of the head quarter of the ‘Alliance Française’ in Botafogo, Rio de Janeiro, Brasil.

The building has been conceived by Philippe and just received  the AQUA certification for sustainable design.

This certificate is the first for an offices building in Rio de Janeiro and the first of all the buildings of the ‘Alliance Françaises’ in the world.

This building embodies all the techniques of sustainable design: solar electricity, natural ventilation, recycled materials, skylights, solar tubs, thermal and acoustic insulations.

Philippe is going to be interviewed by the channel ‘education, Brasilian, TV.
