The positive strengh of death

Two days ago, I read an article written by a coach. Title was:

"The joy of death"

No need to precise that after my dad’s death, this article particularly kept my attention ...

 This article discussed the path my thoughts go on since a few months, in a few simple and well weighed words....

Even though religious / spiritual beliefs probably help in stating that there is a life after death, whatever its form, I think that for most of us, and regardless of the type of belief to which one adheres, death does frighten us.

Our tendency is to not even want to think about it, blocking our thoughts we feel are too scary or painful.

And yet this earthly death is an unavoidable reality that marks the end of our segment of life.

Recognising the reality of deat, the second end of our segment of life becomes visible and not vague anymore; the prospects become clearer by themselves.

It naturally defines our path.

Life is a finite segment.

The acceptance and recognition of this ultimate and critical parameter is exactly the one that leads to the overall perception of our own life.

And from there flows more freedom to create, draw, act our life in a way which acquires a special light, because the frame becomes clear, therefore holds.

The death of the other refers to our own death, to the limits of our own life.

This new life framework is a gift unintentionally given by the person who has disappeared

 One thing seems certain; the loss of someone who is important to us weakens in the short and medium term, but may well increase our strengths later in time

And time is an essential parameter, as always.
