Expatraite's wednesday; Listening to your body

I remember when i arrived here in rio, I had a discussion with a gynecologist.

Do not fly away from this article if you are a man ; this is good for you to know as well how much, in this exemple, a woman’s soul and body can be hurt.

A man’s body can be hurt at the same level, in different ways.

Back to the gyneco ; she told me that nearly 90% of the expatriates women she sees have an interruption in their periods when they arrive.

I seriously could not believe this figure !

She confirmed.

This discussion I had with this professionnal cannot be taken as a true statistic value as the sample is way too small.

Still ; The body is expressing a big discomfort to say the less

Again, this has to be recognised and seriously taken into acount

This is about women.

I don’t know about you men, your body expresses your feelings as well, I do not know in which way though.

Have you ever noticed if your body reacted in a clearly different  when you arrived in a new country ?

And I am convinced it can be in a very positive way as much as in a negative one !

It all depends how you feel then !
