A walk in Aragon, Spain
Often, our parents used to have the same job throughout their lives, and often with the same employer.
Often, our parents used to have the same job throughout their lives, and often with the same employer.
Often, not all the time.
It is not unusual nowadays to go through unemployment, or changing job, changing one's employer, sometimes wanted, sometimes not.One of the great luxuries of expatriation through an employeur, is that not only the work is assured, de facto, but also, even if only one spouse works, the family income is good. What an advantage !
In many cases, it allows the one who is not earning money to dream of a new work orientation, set up a new qualification with a very flexible frame:The possibility to manage time ! !As expatriates have usually travelled before, they may speak more than one langage and so search in different countries.
It opens to multiple choices !
How many of you have made this choice ?
Personally, I went for a new qualification when I wasn't an expatriate, I was working and having my first child, then, after, I did another training as I was an expatriate with a part-time job and three children at school. Different ? ;o) Oh yeah !
What an opportunity not to miss!I am thinking of friends (who may recognize themselves !), Some have become:French as a Foreign Language teacherPrimary school teacherInterior designerTranslatorAuthor of articles in various magazines Life Coach and qualified in NLP (that's me!)Yoga teacher. . .
And often they chose to work as a self employed, which is a flexible formula that works well with expatriation. The loss of self confidence though can at times be an issue for some as they have stopped being employed for a long time.

But you can work on that and shine even more !! !
Ask your favorite life coach: o)
Do you also want to do ... something else ?
Go! Take this chance you have!
Food for thought I hope for you !
