I'll summarise in a few lines a strong idea I found in a book I read some time ago

"The man who wanted to be happy" by Laurent Gounelle

 

A man goes to Bali and decides to meet an old healer who said, after some minutes of palpation of his body,

(...)

- You are in pain despite a good physical condition. What's wrong in your life?

- I would be happier if I had a girlfriend

- What's stopping you?

- I'm too skinny

- Your problem is not physical, but what you believe of its perception by women

 

So much is said in that last sentence, so much!

Yes, our beliefs colour our lives and they are totally subjective;

Your neighbour may have completely different beliefs one the same subject.

At the beginning, beliefs that are not yours will seem totally false

The essence of life coaching is to move on with you on your way to achieving your chosen goal

to redefine and find yourself on your path

 

Revisiting beliefs and realise that it is possible to change them

New beliefs can open a world of new possibilities and blow the limits we've set to ourselves !

Beliefs are built over time, depending what we've been trough, who we've been with

Have a go ! !

Do not wait anymore ! !
