guest's article: The fear of the other, when the difference becomes threat

This week, I want to share with you an article written by Marie José Sibille, a French Integrative Psychotherapist, EMDR Practitioner (see link below) and trainer
"The fear of the other, when the difference becomes threat"

From this article that I find really interesting, I picked up a sentence that seems to me particularly ecchoing what I can understand here and there.

For me, it is directly linked to the notion of the time we can give to ourself
The notion of time that has nourrished the motivation of my blog and gives it a continuum

Here is the sentence Marie-José wrote that inspired me:

"The need for control by the logorrhea or the hyperactivity, alternating with the escape and withdrawing are two defensive attitudes clearly listed in social anxiety, and already in ethology through the study of animal behavior. One of the
goals of psychotherapy is to propose a secure enough frame to access these archaic lacks of the little baby, gradually reducing the level of anxiety and the fear of the destruction that go together"

The logorrhea, this ability to speak without leaving a fraction of a second between one word and the one that has to follow
Hyperactivity or not not being able to stand doing nothing, the unbearable reality of having time to oneself
The anxiety about staying there, facing oneself, and the threat of facing oneself
 This essential time space that has to be respected without compressing it if we want to live our life and not going through it observing it from far like a landscape from a train windowThis accumulation of words and activities are symptoms that can be recognized;

TO BE or TO DO
Small simple tests:
Next discussion you have with whoever you want, check how long you hold it without opening your mouth or without interrupting a sentence ;o)
Organise your day. . .with  no organisation at all

Feel if it is not simple, maybe unbearable not to speak / not to do
What do you feel in your body ? Tension, pressure, pain . . .
Where ? Stomach, chest, neck, head . . .
Our body gives us clues on where we have to look after ourselvesYou probably have an idea of the answer, right? It is interesting to know that chosing to deal with these symptoms may open our life to more inner calm and strength

I recommend you read the whole article of Marie Jose, it will give you lots of thoughts, I'm sure!

I didn't translated them as it is quite long and I can't copy it and it is pretty long,

I do trust your French department for being on top of it ! ;o)
