That could well be a child fundamental question !
One word finds its place in my mind yesterday evening before going to bed
LOVE
This word is often part of the values we carry in our luggage for . . . a very long time
What is the meaning of this word for you, what other worlds are behind, and around this one ?
" I love . . . " is a common affirmation, do we always know what we put in this gift box ?
When I was starting working as a social worker in Alsace, France, one of the hing I had to do was to assess the qualities of women who wanted to become a child minder
One of those ladies once kept saying " I love children" and never answered anything more to my attepts of having somthing else out of her thoughts.
So I answered " I do love the choucroute ( traditional Alsacian dish) do you think it is the same love ?"
I do agree with you, my question was rude !
I can still visualise in slow motion the chocked reaction on her face
Of course, I have been told off straight by my hierarchy. Yet I still agree with that young professional I was, even if, I would hopefully be more delicate today in my approach
Yes, the verb love can be used in so many different ways
How do you like it ?
What treasures do you hide in it ? How do you dress it daily ? With smiles ? With attention ?
How do you light it on ?
I personally like to make it bounce with Respect, Acceptation/ Recognition, Non-Expectation
How about you ? With what do you make it bounce ?
Love is a word which goes far, very far within us
It allows us to LIVE . . . "as simple as that"
Do you know that children badly treated because of lack of love, lack of recognition, left alone in their bed without anybody to love them with a smile, with a gesture, give up on living, they let themselves die ?
Love is about recognising ourself first for opening to others
Here is love, A moment shared around building a cardboard robot
