I can not resist sharing another piece of Khalil Gibran, on mariage this time

The message remains the same; let's not interfere in the integrity of the one we have chosen to share our life with

Let's love without trying to bring her or him to our individual projects.

Defining our life project must be done before anything else depending on. . . ourself

Then we see the adaptations that we agree to make depending on our partner

It may take some time for reflection. . . or not!

The greatest achievement is to walk together and that each spouse has his own area of accomplishment whatever it is

Him and Her

You were born together, and together you shall be forevermore.
You shall be together when the white wings of death scatter your days.

For the pillars of the temple stand apart,
And the oak tree and the cypress grow not in each other's shadow.
